Emily M. Tam is a top-producing licensed real estate broker with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in San Francisco. She is also a real estate attorney, a real estate investor, a real estate property manager, and a real estate consultant for her clients.  A lifelong San Francisco native, Emily earned her BA from San Francisco State and her JD from Golden Gate University. 

    After being admitted to the State Bar of California, Emily worked as an attorney in cases involving bankruptcy and real estate law. While working as a real estate attorney, she became very fascinated with all aspects of real estate. 

    Shortly after earning her Brokers License and switching careers to selling real estate, she became a Top Producer.  Emily has consistently sold millions of dollars of real estate in San Francisco, East Bay, and the Peninsula.  She has successfully represented both Sellers and Buyers with her strong negotiation skills and background in real estate law.  She has been selling real estate for over a decade.  Since her first year of selling real estate, she has been ranked as a Top Ten agent in her office every year.  She is currently ranked in the Top 1% Nationally.

    As part of her expertise, Emily has worked on numerous transactions for Probate, Estate, Trust, and Conservatorship sales.  She has attended and represented clients at many Probate confirmation court hearings in San Francisco, Alameda County, and San Mateo County and regularly helps market properties that require court confirmation. She is highly proficient in explaining the process of Probate sale and court confirmation to Buyers, Sellers and other Realtors.

    In addition, Emily manages several rental properties throughout the Bay Area for her clients.  She has extensive experience with designing homes and she has managed several residential construction projects.  She often advises her clients about projects for their home renovations.  She works very closely with several real estate investors and developers.

    Emily is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Asian American Bar Association, and the National Association of Asian American Professionals. She speaks fluent Cantonese.   For over two decades, Emily has volunteered her free time at many different nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area.  In addition, she is an avid sports fan and she enjoys attending sporting events.  She also loves traveling around the world and she has visited over 20 different countries.
